Most shoes of this style,

"Most shoes of this style, with sneaker-like soles, have insufficient support for a flat-footed person like me. The Rafael has decent arch support. I can walk further, with more comfort than with Kiziks, Sketchers, or other slip-on shoes. Meanwhile, the nubuck leather is vastly superior to most shoes in this price range. No plastic coating to make them look like good leather, it's just good leather. These are good, all-purpose shoes for walking and especially for travel. They're well-made and look great. Hubbards are a much better choice for long periods of wear compared to other slip-ons. I recommend them highly."
