Love the Founder Oxford! The

"Love the Founder Oxford! The Cognac leather is supple and comfortable out of the box. They don’t wear or feel like a sneaker, not squishy EVA like Hoka… still feels like a heritage shoe. The extra wide is an amazing fit for my 4E feet and high instep… and the anatomical toe box is a game changer. Not a big fan of the insole. My heel is sensitive to a lot of lift, and the addition of a heel pad under a thick insole was too much for me. I replaced with a 2mm flat layer of suede covered high return Poron, with the Birkenstock cushion insole… huge fan of the metatarsal support in the middle of the foot. If you like a big heel drop and don’t have a high instep, their insole is great quality… triple density, high quality materials… but I’m not sure it’s real leather on the insole… if it is, it’s the bare minimum. Great shoe, I immediately bought a different style in the navy nubuck and love those also! These shoes are easily the shoes I’d want to wear for a long day."

Favorite shoes for work, clock

"Favorite shoes for work, clock a lot of miles daily. Rotate between 2 pairs every other day and burn through both sets of soles in 3-4 months. The upper is durable, sole not so much for my use. When re-soled with Dainite sole, loses a little comfort but creates a more durable shoe."

"Uncommonly good shoes that are all-day comfortable right out of the box and provide good support while walking. The last is a little narrow, so when ordering I would recommend go one size more wide. For example, I typically wear an 11W, in this shoe, the 11XW fits well. They are a classy looking, understated shoe that stands out. Highly recommend."

"First time customer, shoes look great and feel the same. The support in these are impressive and walking feels good. I ordered XW (4e) as some reviews state they run narrow, and I normally wear a Wide (2e). This was not the case for me, the shoes are true to size, I wear 9. 5 2E and these fit perfect. The exchange was a breeze, customer service was easy and quick!! I immediately ordered the black pair to give my brown pair company without hesitation."
