"LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! I don't have major foot issues, but always appreciate a comfortable pair of shoes. I splurged a little and ordered the gold metallic suede. The color was a bit out of my "comfort zone," but I took a chance. I was so glad that I did. The color is neutral enough to wear with anything, and the straps are totally adjustable for a personalized fit. Furthermore, the footbed is comfortable for long wear. I highly recommend. My first pair of Hubbards, but NOT my last!"

I have owned many pair

"I have owned many pair of sandals similar to the Portola Two Strap in my life, this style appeals to me. This particular version has these nice features: All the straps adjust so you can customize the fit. The soles are thick enough to keep your feet out of whatever you're walking through and they aren't heavy. The insole lining material is absorbent. There is adequate arch support."

The Portola two strap sandal

"The Portola two strap sandal is very comfortable and cute. I wore them for several hours right out of box and they did not hurt my feet. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and need a good arch support and cushion. I wish the arch support was a little bit more, but these still are good. My only complaint is that the strap that goes across the top of the foot near the ankle could be a little longer. I had my Mom try these on because I thought they were so comfy and she needed more length in that strap. I always wear a size 9 but feel I could wear a 91/2 in these. I would size up if you are a 1/2 size."

"I don't ever remember buying a shoe (any style) that I was not concerned about comfort during the 1st wear. The sizing is also perfect: 7 is 7. This sandal is IT. I took them out of the box, put them on and they felt like butter and I was ready to go! Incredibly comfortable! Both the back

"Incredibly comfortable! Both the back and the top straps are velcro-adjustable. Wear these all day with no problem at all. The sole is flexible, the footbed comfortable, the adjustable straps soft (no biting or rubbing). The style, at least in gold -- and given the white sole -- is casual, with a kinda-klunky look, so they're go perfectly with jeans, shorts, and fun skirts. If your summer travel outings require no fancy activities, bring no other shoes -- from the airport lines through sightseeing to dinner on the boardwalk and back -- so easy!"

Oh my, shoes right from

"Oh my, shoes right from the box that are comfortable and fit. I ordered 7 1/2 wide and they’re true to size and look very stylish. Love that the straps open/close. Sorry I live in MI and weather hasn’t permitted me to wear them yet but I know I hesitated buying cause of the price and online but now I’m happy I did cause they feel like walking on the clouds."

Comfortable to wear for a

"Comfortable to wear for a few hours. Although, if the straps are adjusted comfortably and not too tight the ball of the foot gets irritated from the little bit of movement. Perhaps a piece of moleskin cloth would help with that. If I tighten the straps, the straps dig in when walking. I wish the arch had more support."

One of the happiest purchases

"One of the happiest purchases I've made this year. These sandals manage to be both stylish and incredibly adjustable/comfortable without looking like . . . well, "sensible adjustable shoes" for seniors. They are not "clodhoppers. " They are easily adjustable in three areas of the foot: the ball of the foot, the ankle and the heel. If you have a uniquely shaped foot (most of us do), your high instep or very narrow heel for example will be dealt with with subtlety and comfort. Additionally, as climate change continues to lengthen and intensify hot summers, a shoe that works with your periodically swollen feet at certain periods of the day is another bonus. So glad I ordered these and bought black and off white."
